美國前總統雷根遺孀南希(Nancy Reagan)於當地時間6日因心臟衰竭去世，享年94歲。南茜家人將把她埋葬在加州雷根圖書館，長伴2004年6月5日逝世的雷根。
香港《明報》綜合報導，南茜與雷根一樣曾為好萊塢影星，兩人1952年結婚，相依扶持52載。她1981年出任第一夫人初時，因在經濟衰退期間翻新白宮，奢華生活品味備受批評，一些批評者稱她為「南茜皇后」。但她與雷根的愛情後來蓋過其他爭議，成為最為美國人津津樂道的白宮愛情故事之一。雷根在白宮裏到處給妻子留下情話，部分結集成書。
南茜在公在私均為雷根重要伴侶，在丈夫從政生涯一直擔當對方的拍檔與顧問，也一起面對過死亡威脅。1960年代雷根任加州州長時，便有人以取南茜首級威脅雷根作出某些政治決定；1981年，雷根更曾遇刺，但逃過鬼門關，南茜其後一直以極力保護丈夫的形象示人。雷根幕僚迪弗(Michael K. Deaver)曾說﹕「沒有南西就沒有雷根州長，也沒有雷根總統。」
1994年雷根患腦退化症後，南茜繼續無微不至照顧他。她1998年接受《名利場》訪問時曾說﹕「我說我的人生是跟Ronnie開始的，那是真的。」2002年她又形容﹕「流金歲月是你們能夠舒服坐下，懷着希望地互訴記憶，然而這病最糟的就是，我們儘管擁有許多共同回憶，可惜不能與他分享。」
受丈夫患病影響，南茜積極推動腦退化症研究，2001年更曾公開與時任總統小布希唱反調，公開支持人類幹細胞研究，希望將來有天能夠治療腦退化症。奧巴馬2009年改變幹細胞研究限制，南茜曾發聲明歡迎。
另據中新網7日援引外媒報導，美國總統歐巴馬及夫人週日(6日)發出唁電稱：「我們感謝南希?雷根的一生和她的教誨。我們的祈禱將伴隨著她。她終於得以與她摯愛的丈夫重逢。」美國總統歐巴馬及夫人特別對南希在慈善事業上的貢獻表示讚賞。
此外，前總統布希也對南希的辭世深表悲痛，除了對南希在治療癌症等病症上的貢獻，布希還特別表示欣賞其在白宮裝飾方面表現出的才能。
美國前國務卿賴斯第一時間在社交網站上表達哀悼稱：「無論力量還是性格，南希是一位了不起的女人。她對雷根的愛不但是美麗的而且鼓舞人心。她對美國的貢獻永垂不朽。」
南希一直生活在洛杉磯Bel Air，近幾年來，健康狀況逐漸變得不佳。
